We are trying to get together with a group of people who love what we do and we want to leave a lasting image on our audience. I have been playing in the Houston area for more than 20 years and have multiple contacts in both the club circuit and with agents and corporations throughout the area.
As a group, we will primarily play a mix of R&B/soul, funk, rock, folk rock, disco, blues, and, since we are in Texas, a touch of country. We are a variety/show band with rich harmonies.
Musicianship is the number one priority. Your requirement is to know your instrument. Vocals are not necessary, but it would move you to the top of the list. Reading music and charts is not necessary, but it would definitely be a plus as it will only help us all.
