Hey, y’all! I’m a bassist who is looking to start or join a project with like-minded musicians and rad folks, or simply jam and have fun with.
While I’ve only been playing for a little over 7 months, I practice a sh*tload (technical term) and have a private teacher so feel I’ve progressed beyond what that might suggest. What I like in experience, I make up for in persistence, drive, and a desire to learn more/improve. I’ve added a video so that you can see that I’m not totally incapable. It’s not necessarily what I’m interested in playing but rather what I happened to be working on with my teacher.
I would love to find a drummer, guitarist, and maybe keys, and a singer (I’m comfortable singing back up) to work on covers and/or (ideally) write our own stuff. I can commit to something once a week for sure, possibly more depending on timing. I’m open to all levels of experience. I’d be most thrilled about working with other women/GNC/NB folks but I’m down to play with men as long as you’re not a predatory asshole.
