I am currently seeking to start up/join a band. I have played guitar since I was 12 and have been mostly a mechanical player up until now. I am currently learning music theory in the hopes to broaden my playing and understanding of music. I play/like Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Country, Acoustic, Alternative Rock and Punk Rock... to name a few. There are very few genres I dislike though. Music is one of my passions and I don't want to take away from that. However, I am also a realist and know that 80's/classic rock covers sell. I want to play where the crowd is just as much in it as the band. Entertainer first, musician second (when it comes to gigging.) I don't want to sound like a garage band either though and I am picky with my sound. Bottom line: A good band that can turn a slow crowd into a fast crowd is what I am looking for.
