I've been playing drums since I was 10 and am a veteran of the Northern NJ/NYC music/club scene. Classic and hard rock are my favorite styles. I'm interested in meeting other local musicians with the goal of putting together a band for the primary purpose of jamming weekly, learning some challenging and fun material and playing some limited shows. I want to be clear that gigging out is not my main goal other than doing it for fun, charity, a few extra bucks etc.. once and a while if things get to that level. I have my own rehearsal space, pro equipment, including a small PA suitable for vocals during rehearsal.

Influences
I studied with Joe Morello over the course of 18 months and he was definitely my biggest influence. John Bonham, Neil Peart and Keith Moon were big influences on me growing up. Musically, I love classic and hard rock. To give you an idea, the ever growing list of tunes I jam to at home include songs by Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, Toto, Led Zep, VH, Molly Hatchet, Rush, Kansas Steve Miller, ZZ Top and Chicago. Today I find a lot of inspiration from advanced rudiment and funk drummers like Rick Latham and progressive jam bands like Umphrey's McGhee
