ABOUT

I've been playing drums for 12 years, and I have experience touring and recording, both in the Long Island/NYC area and in Nashville (I went to college there for a little while). I'm in the midst of writing a concept album about my struggle with mental health over the past few years and am looking for musicians to help me write/record that album (I'm only good for writing drum parts, orchestral backing, and vocal parts; every other instrument I'd prefer be written by someone who actually understands the instrument), and potentially join me in a fully collaborative project after that album is released. With this band I want to tour/promote heavily in order to gain a following and possibly attract label attention. But in the meantime, I'm just a drummer who's looking for any paying gigs in the Long Island/NYC area. I'm generally a flashy player when I'm left to my own devices, but if called for I have zero problem laying back and playing pocket. I also have no problem playing to a click, or playing long sets. As you can see from my influences, progressive rock/metal is obviously my favorite genre but really I play everything else from jazz to hip hop to reggae. I am also currently in two semi-active bands that I do not intend to leave.
