Band to Join.

Hey I'm Ian. I'm a student at UK and I've been playing a musical instrument since the fifth grade. I started out playing the saxophone and played that until the second semester of my freshman year of high school. I also started playing guitar in the summer prior to my freshman year of high school. I've also taught myself to play the mandolin, and can also play the banjo, even though the only one I own is in a storage unit up in Alaska. I am also a hack-keyboard player, meaning I can make people who know nothing about music believe that I can actually play. All-in-all I just like to play music, and I especially like to play music with other musicians. I had been in a band for several years, bu we moved apart, and now I've got that urge to jam again.

I'm mostly into old-school progressive rock, i.e. ELP, Yes, The Alan Parson's Project, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, Rush, and I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting. Really though I love almost all types of music, except for dub-step, don't even get me started on dub-step, or as I like to call it, ear-rape.

Schecter Hellraiser III (my flagship, er, flag-guitar), Fender Telecaster HH Custom, Epiphone Studio something or other, Epiphone 12-string acoustic w/ pick-up, crappy acoustic-electric Fender mandolin, KORG microKORG XL, DigiTech RP500 multi-effects pedal (plus some other crap effects pedals), a 100-Watt Fender Head with no cabinet (because I stupidly sold it), and to top it all off (and run it all through), a Roland micro cube, I know badass right?
