I really enjoy hardcore as well as deathcore. I also am an avid enjoyer of jazz fusion, funk, latin, and just good ole classic rock.
Some of my favorite bass players are John Paul Jones, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Billy Sheehan, Cliff Burton, Mohini Dey, and many more
