Looking to finish filling out a group to play some psych rock/jazzy/whatever genre you want to call it music.
We are trying to solidify a group of 6 (2 guitars, bass, keys, and 2 drummers). So far we have 4 consistent players (guitar, bass, keys, drums) so are looking for those last two positions (guitar and drums). We have a potential second guitarist feeling it out in the middle of August so hopefully that works out and all that remains would be the second drummer.
Three of us met in a music tech undergrad program and have been friends since. bonus points if you can read music, as i like to write stuff out.
The material on my isn't really indicative of what style we play, just some drafts and doodles that I liked.
Our goal is to learn a set of continuous music (around 30-35 mins of straight music), which is already written out. We want to play shows and eventually record.
We practice in our basement in Bed-Stuy. We try to do full rehearsals on Sunday afternoons, with partial rehearsals sprinkled throughout the week on Mondays and Thursdays when schedules permit. We have almost everything we need, just missing a second ride cymbal.

Fender Hot Rod Delux, Fender Hot Rod Deville, Ampeg bass head and cab, Catalina Club four piece kit (minus the kick drum), other kit is a frankensteined Ludwig kit, complete with Acrolite snare and Yamaha Floor tom.
