I've been playing guitar & bass since 1993 and have since tacked-on some 70's/80's synth skillz, although I'm no pianist. I absolutely love improvisation, and have decided that recruiting others for *online* improvisational jams should be my focus here. No particular style/genre...No particular anything, as long as it is truly spontaneous. The less planning the better.
I would like to recruit people from around the greater Chicagoland area to have weekly online improvisational jams on Jamulus or Ninjam (both free). Jamulus is real-time, so it lends itself to any genre. Although, Ninjam is BPM-based and is better-suited for timeclock-driven MIDI/Synth/Drum Machine material.
Think of it...You get to jam with new people from the comfort of your home! No need to pack up your rig, haul it across town just to find out that you don't click with some people! Come on...Take a chance!
