Primarily an upright bass player, many years experience playing classical and jazz as well as many jazz-adjascent genres. Started out in punk rock, and still have interest there, as well as some indie/alternative rock and folk kinds of things. But jazz is my main thing, especially in the spirit of post-bop, cool, straight-ahead, and free - think Mingus, Miles, Monk, Trane to Ornette, Ra, Threadgill, and so on. And classical, mainly romantic to modern but some interest in older stuff too. Not too interested in churning out music for gigs, more interested in exploring music and having fun.
