Our good friend Rustin Luther was recently diagnosed with a cancerous tumor inside his brain that is inoperable and will ultimately be his cause of death. Rustin and Jen have a long road in front of them, full of medical procedures and costly treatments. There's a GoFundMe set up to help with some of those bills at https://www.gofundme.com/7pzj62rm and there has already been a signifcant amount of money raised to go towards that.

However, this benefit show is specifically for one thing: to give Rustin and his family an all-expenses paid vacation to Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, FL with Rustin, Jen, and their 5 kids. We want to bless Rustin and, perhaps more importantly, his kids with some great memories of spending a week together in paradise.

I'm personally reaching out to various organizations for help with this, chipping in some of my own money, and using what small amount of frequent flyer miles and hotel rewards points I've saved booking bands over the years to help with a couple of the flights and hotels. However, we still have a long way to go to make this happen.

If you prefer to donate directly towards their family and medical expenses, there will be other benefit shows at other various venues and as mentioned above, the GoFundMe on which you can donate.

I've broken down roughly what the expenses involved with this are so we know how much we have to raise at this event! If we are able to get anything donated/discounted for us and raise more than this, the rest will be given to Rustin/Jen to use as they see fit, whether it be for medical bills or spending money on their trip.
