A drummer turned songwriter + multi-instrumentalist. I have released several self-performed studio albums centered around rock music as a basis but combining progressive, metal, jazz and classic country as additional influences in the sound. My live band, The Austin Taft Soundtrack, gathers additional musicians to perform arrangements of the studio material on the live stage, and we have rocked with a variety of national acts. Having recently moved to Colorado Springs, I am actively seeking highly skilled musicians (drums, bass guitar, keyboard) to form a new, increasingly progressive and daring version of the aforementioned live outfit to perform songs from the studio records. However, beyond this, I am excited to meet other musicians from the area in general and chop it up. There is a rich diversity of talent in the Colorado Springs area with no shortage of interesting conversations to be had!
