Rhythm Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums.

Played for many years.
Rock, Classic Rock. Blues Rock styles. Take Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, and Sammy Hagar and you have my style in a nutshell.

I am looking for players with vision and not caught up in the same old rut playing the same old songs. I want to rock! I want to move! It has to be cool and fun. If I see ONE more band all looking at their dirty sandle-clad feet playing and looking like bored stones, I will puke!

You must be reliable. If you like to be drunk during a gig, I don't want you. You must have a car, you must have gear.

2nd Guitarist: You MUST be willing to share leads and do harmony leads. If I am playing a solo, then you knock out a smooth driving rhythm and visa versa, if you are slamming a lead, then I will hold it down good and solid for you. If you can sing backup, it would sweeten the deal.

BASS Players: First - Please know how to play at least a 5 string!. You must BE a Bass player. Meaning, I would prefer someone with whom grew up playing bass like I grew up learning guitar. I don't want a wanna-be a bass player. I want a player who loves holding down a strong bottom end and locking in with the drummer. Do I want a 1-note droner, NO!, I want someone who can play his/her instruments and get down on it! IF you can sing..again, would be even better.

I don't care if you are 21 or 71. Male or Female. I just want to play great music with proper and professional musicians. If you join me, you will be helping to build an awesome working band here in Portland. I PROMISE!

To give you an idea, here is a sample song list of music I would like to play also exemplifying the overall style.
Paranoid - Megadeth Version
Green Eyed, Lady, Whipping Post, and Stasboro Blues - Pat Travers Versions
Rock and Roll Queen, and Oh Yeah - The Subways
No more Mr. Nice guy - Megadeth version
War Pigs by Cake - Shaddup! It is a cool version...listen to it!
Ballroom Blitz - Sweet
Communication Breakdown - Zep - played in Low B on a 7- string, which means the bass player needs a 5-string
House is a rockin' - Brian Setzer -> Stevie Ray -> Our Version
Full Throttle - Jackl - Again...using a 7 string to bring it down low.
Great White Buffalo, Paralyzed, Stranglehold, Dog Eat Dog, Stormtroopin', or any other cool fast tunes by Ted Nugent.
There's only one way to rock - Sammy Hagar - in Low B
Rock Candy - Montrose.
Detroit Rock City - Kiss (With Harmony Leads)
Snortin Whiskey, Drinkin Cocaine - Pat Travers
Boom Boom, out go the lights - Pat Travers.
You Really Got me - Just cuz it will always be cool!

So..there ya go.
1) If you like ALL of the music above move to number 2
2) Will you have time to dedicate? If yes, move to number 3
3) Can you be humble in your abilities and learn from the others in your group and work together as a team? If so, move to number 4
4) Do you have good command of your instrument? If yes, move to number 5
5) Ok..then I would like to talk to you.

If you are unsure or iffy about any of the above, please don't waste our time. We have a group to form.

Contact me...let's get this thing moving!

Yes we will do originals, yes I will listen to your ideas. Yes we will make them cool.
