ABOUT
Hello. My name is Kevin Yu.
I am a professional, contemporary pianist and singer, composer, arranger, and lyricist that plays and sings in a wide fusion of genres such as pop, folk, classic jazz, blues, R&B, soul, classic rock, and more.
At an early age, I was trained in classical and jazz music, for piano and voice. I played drums for two years.
I play hits of the 70s to 80s, jazz standards, Broadway hits, TV theme songs, popular and contemporary hits today.
I have played in various Open Mic nights and special events, such as Live Airing of Cafe Improv at the Arts Council on Channel 30 in Princeton, NJ, to being a Semifinalist for the 2014 Watching NJ Singing Idol Competition. I also performed at a private banquet in the Princeton Forrestal Village for the Princeton Music Connection and for Central NJ Retirement Communities.

I will be playing song selections composed by Daniel Ingram, from Hasbro's "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" TV Show, and my own, My Little Pony themed songs and compositions.
