I play a little sax, acoustic guitar and uke, but I’ve always preferred and focused on bass. I’m an intermediate to advanced player who can learn most tunes quickly. Not a great notation reader, but can follow chord charts well. At a place in life where I experience the advantages of age without too many of the disadvantages. Strong enough to load in and out, have an optimistic, cooperative attitude and work well in collaborative environments.
Looking for experienced, compatible musicians who appreciate a cooperative band experience without the drama. IMO there is no higher high than hearing, feeling and communicating through playing music together.

Influences
My musical tastes and influences run toward what I would call American roots music; kind of an amalgamation of folk, country, blues, jazz, R&B, rock, reggae, gospel, jam, etc. Basically, I'm ready to play whatever the gig requires.

Fender P & J Basses, GB Streamliner 900, Schroeder 1210, plus other basses, acoustic guitar and amps. Also have access to rehearsal space with complete Yamaha PA, mics, etc.
