Fiddle, Mandolin, Vocalist.

Retired farmer. Main passion is writing. I fingerpick most songs, strum some with thumb or claw hammer style. Would really like to get with 1 to 4 other folks (could not care less what race, age, or gender) and play at any type venue where crowd is there to listen. Only reasons I have not played more in public is that a few of my close friends have made negative comments concerning my vocal skill. Or lack of. I can sing on key, limited range, struggle with chronic hoarseness, but I truly love it. I’ve written quite a few songs, made a few demos, and have a gazillion unfinished ones lying around. I have only co-written a couple of times, but really enjoy it. I live in northwest Tn, but spend a lot of time in Oxford visiting my family. Wanna have fun, meet easy-going musicians and vocalists and see what happens. Thanks for reading.
