I have been playing guitar for about 7-8 years. I am looking for either a group to join, or other musicians looking for a band. I have played with four to five different bands in the last few years, but am looking for guys looking to gig regularly. I am going to major in Jazz guitar in college, but have played/play the following genres- Indie Rock, Rock, Blues, Fusion, Jazz, Instrumental Rock, Prog Rock, Jam Band, Prog Metal, and Country Rock. I am looking for people to play original music of any sort, and am looking for a bass player, a keyboardist, drummer, and vocalist who may or may not play rhythm guitar any other instruments as well
I am preferably looking for a raw, southern jam band, somewhere of combining the likes of the allman bros with more indie stuff like early black keys and the white stripes. but I will literally play ANYTHING, but please no strictly cover bands, I want to do something fresh and original, with lots of energy!
I am currently a senior in High School, and am almost 18, I dont care how old you are, you just have to be good hahaha. I have a lot of great gear so sound wont be a problem.
