Shadows of Dawn is a metal band from South New Jersey. We have just finished recording our first album at our home studio and are currently in the process of mixing/mastering with a projected release in about 2 months. Our sound is very diverse and our influences cover many styles of music, but our main influences always come back to the different genres of metal: death, thrash, black, classic metal, progressive and even a little power metal. Our main influences are: Iced Earth, Death, Fear Factory, In Flames, Soilwork, At the Gates, Testament, Metallica, Meshuggah, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath. We are looking for a drummer who can play different styles at the drop of a dime and can play to a click track. Someone who has a combination of chops and creativity and can seamlessly fuse those two elements together, but most importantly, someone who has a passion for playing music and the unrelenting drive to take the band as far as it can possibly go.
