Im a dedicated musician who loves my craft. I very easy to get along with.( no ego)Im very humble and respectful to my band mates. I was raised in the church so there are certain values that i hold dear to heart. Most of all I love music.
Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Brandon â??Blackâ?? Jones began playing drums and percussion at the age of six. A few short years later he played regularly at his grandparentsâ?? church. Brandon was raised as underprivileged, was not able to receive drums so he would practice on pots, pans, buckets and hubcaps from his grandfatherâ??s junk yard. Brandon went on continuing his skill as a drummer in the church.
Brandon went to Southeast Raleigh High school where he would join the band and play the snare drum. After successful completion, he attended Shaw University on a band scholarship. It was there that that he also began to play with the University Jazz band. It was there where he began to fine tune his sound for jazz.
Currently, Brandon plays and tours with the Signature Series Band. He now resides in Fayetteville, NC, where he plays and records regularly. Please feel free to contact me anytime (919)551-2398
