Jagged Lines has been a well-established band in the San Diego music scene for six years now. Having been featured on 91X, Rock 105.3, and FM94.9, having toured throughout the Southwest, having regularly played prestigious venues like the Casbah, the House of Blues, and the Viper Room, and having been signed to From the Depths Records, having recorded a full-length studio album featured on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, GooglePlay, and having released professional videos, the band is poised to play national dates, record and release an extremely strong sophomore record that is already receiving attention from various local and national press sources, and is preparing to move on to take our place as San Diego's most definitive original hard rock band. We are currently seeking a new bassist.

At this stage in the game, we have honed our craft, paid our dues, and are a professional ensemble that holds musicianship, passion, energy, and boldness as the hallmarks of our brand. We have evolved over time, but have realized from the start that our most honest asset is our love of hard rock 'n' roll. We are seeking a very special sort of person who is committed enough to practice, self-motivate, and work with us, but will also have fun, play wildly, and enjoy some rowdy rebelliousness here and there. Jagged Lines is frequently complimented on our live show, with people being blown away by our energy, charisma, and musicianship. We practice a fair amount, and we are committed to this art form as a lifestyle. We are looking for someone with style, a good nature, and a love of rocking out. If you feel this might describe you, we highly encourage you to reach out to us for an audition. We don't care about being on the cover of Rolling Stone, but that's not off the menu, either. We are crafting excellent rock 'n' roll, and just need a bass player who can convey our low end with grace and grit. Bass prowess is a must, but some vocal skills are highly sought after. As a band, professionalism is highly important, but good-natured deviance is a must.

Jagged Lines is most heavily indebted to US indie rock, punk, metal, and importantly, the blues. The band has scores of influences, but the more important ones would be the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Guns 'n' Roses, Robert Johnson, Black Sabbath, the Velvet Underground, the Clash, Hum, Jawbox, Stone Temple Pilots, Muddy Waters, & Rancid.
