I have been playing in working bands since I was in high-school. I am exceptionally good at filling-in for other drummers when they cannot make a gig. I am exceptionally versitile. I like to play with bands that use dynamics--playing soft sometimes, playing louder other times, depending on the music and the particular part of the tune being played. I also think it is important to adjust volume to the tastes of the audience and size of the room. I am a weekend player now, although I did play full-time many years ago. I have another job. I like to play with people that already have music ready to go. I am ok with practicing, but only occasionally. I need to be working--playing for money.
