Hey everyone I'm Jim, and I am a guitarist with 50 years experience. I'm also a composer in the instrumental vibe. Kind of Allman Bros meets Mike Stern to keep it simple but its much deeper.
I'm currently looking for strong drums and bass for a recording project that I hope will morph into a tight band that we can go out and play some killer shows! I'm really into the vibe of a trio but I'm not ruling out a second guitarist or keyboard which I already have lined up.
I'm looking to record 10 or so pieces I've written and pursuing gigs in the Sea, Everett, Tacoma areas but to be honest I'd play an out house at this point! Like most musicians I'm hungry as hell to get something started after a year of this pandemic! Im very hungry and motivated to get started.
I have serious gear. Mainly a Les Paul guy but I have all axe's covered as well as amps which are a Tone King Imperial Mk 1, Dr Z MAZ18 Jr and Fender Blues Jr. I have space in my living room with musician neighboors so no hassel! I live in the Northgate area.
My music is melodic, fusion/jazz/blues based but not the '80's guitar althletisim. I like to think that my music is very challenging, rewarding and fun! If you're also a composer that's a plus because I love playing others peoples material sometimes more than my own! LOL!
I'm an easy going guy. I dont get pissed or throw tantrums. This has to be fun or forget it right? I'm really looking for specific players that know their way around their instrument and have humor, joy and magic in their playing! Please have pro gear and reliable trans.
