ABOUT

I play guitar. My style is rock and blues forward with elements of jazz, disco, soul, country, and metal. I focus on improvisation live and play intricate, catchy, and scorching lead lines and melodies. I am knowledgeable of music theory, modes, jazz chords, and rhythm playing (also play bass). I practice patience, refined tension buildup, and hit triumphant peaks.

On bass guitar I play fingerstyle and am a natural pocket dweller. I throw down on some deep end dirty stank grooves.

I also sing! I can sing lead but I prefer backing. I have a good falsetto (think Bee Gees and John Frusciante) and can harmonize.

I would like to play lead in a group of my own again but I am first seeking an outfit to join while I continue to build my network of local musicians (I just relocated to Birmingham). I am ready to play lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, or auxiliary percussion. I am consistent, reliable, and available weeknights and weekends. I enjoy making and performing original music but am completely open to playing in a cover band especially if it already has established booking contacts to call on.
