I'm Jake, I've played drums since I was 16 years old. Even though it's a shorter amount of time than the usually "experienced" or "driven" musician don't let that fool you I live, eat, and breath drums and music. It's my passion in life and I wanna keep on doing it til the day I die! I'm pretty universal or adaptable when it comes to different styles of playing even though my heart is at the heavier side of music genres, but that doesn't mean I like to experiment in other regions of the musical hemisphere. I got a project going on with one of my favorite guitar player's in the Bako area and we are doing originals with a wide variety of influences into a more heavier sub-genre of metal or rock. My personal influences are Danny Carey(drummer for TOOL), Gavin Harrison(drummer for Porcupine Tree), Gene Hoglan(drummer for death, dethklok, and too many others to list), Tomas Haake(drummer for Meshuggah), Billy Cobham(fusion god drummer), and Joe Travers(drummer for Zappa Plays Zappa and also infamous studio/live hired gun).
