18 year old bassist from Northville, Michigan looking for a band (especially a drummer) to jam along with. I am 4 years deep in music, 1 year deep in bass, am a finger-picker, and am very open to influences + ideas (blues, jazz, funk, etc.).
I have never played in a band before, though I have played quite a bit with a friend/guitarist.

1967, 1977, and 2000 are some of my favorite years of music ever. The scenes going on right now are pretty cool, a lot of dirty south rap has been going good for 20 years now. I appreciate the electronic music scene. I love R&B and jazz, and their obvious cross-overs into hip-hop. Love blues music, Jimi Hendrix being the best, and love metal and it's live scene. Electric Wizard is a personal favorite. Listened to 1000s of albums but none as much as I have listened to Dopethrone. Couldn't possibly list everything. I could say Rolling Stones where I could say Queens of the Stone Age, or Prince.
