Drummer educators like Peter Erskine. Masters: Harvey Mason, Jeff Hamilton. Artists such as Gil Scott-Heron, Horace Silver, Pat Metheny, Laura Nyro, Marvin Gaye, Funk Brothers, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Sade, Steely Dan, Madeleine Peyroux.... Composers Quincy Jones and Patrick Williams. "it's a big broad list". I'm open to great material. All genres welcome.
