I have been playing guitar since I was 17. Currently 32. I played in a few garage type bands in my teen/early 20s. Formed a pretty serious metal band in 2013 called Catalytic. We played tons of shows around Indiana and the surrounding states. Went on a mini tour in 2015 that took us to Virginia beach. I played lead guitar for that band until 2017. I ultimately decided to quit that band because I wasn't happy in it anymore. My faith in Jesus is the most important thing in my life and I was the only one in the group who felt that way. Being a Christian in the metal community was extremely difficult. I wanted the band to be about leading people to Jesus through our music and I knew that would never happen with that group. I've been playing worship music at my church for the past few years, but I really miss playing heavy metal. I would love to get involved with or form a band that is heavy, but also puts God first.
