I am 20 years old and started playing electric guitar about 6 years ago...my freshman year of high school. While I have never taken any formal lessons, I have learned everything I know on my own. I like doing heavy rhythm parts and can learn most lead parts if given time. I never learned how to read regular sheet music for guitar but know how to read a chord chart and tabs. Right now I pretty much only learn songs from bands that I listen to. I've played many times whether it be in my church band (1000-1200 people per service x3 services) or in the band at the summer camp I worked at last summer. Now I go to school in Deerfield, Illinois (heads up...I do not have my own car with me).

Metal, rock, Christian rock. My favorite bands are: Skillet, Phinehas, Disciple, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Thousand Foot Krutch, A Day to Remember, Red, Underoath, We As Human, Breaking Benjamin, and Of Mice and Men. I can play multiple songs from all of these bands.
