ABOUT

Guitar player, drummer, bass player, and female singer are looking for a keyboardist and another singer (male or female soprano) who are interested in playing 60s music. Vocal ability for the keyboardist is a huge plus. We would describe ourselves as an oldies/rock/cover band and also want to include Pittsburgh (Grove, Mad Mike, etc.) music from this era.

Our playlist includes: Come See About Me, You Keep Me Hanging On, Where Did Our Love Go - Supremes, Oh my Angel Bertha Tillman, Good Night My Love - The Honeys, My Guy - Mary Wells, He's a Rebel - The Crystals, Shoop Shoop Song - Betty Everett, Dedicated to the One I Love - The Shirelles, Be My Baby - The Ronettes, That's Why Baby I Love You - Jaggerz, Locomotion - Little Eva, It's Too Late - Carole King, Knock on Wood - Eddie Floyd, Needles and Pins - Searchers, Face in the Crowd - Montereys, The Twist - Chubby Checker, Peppermint Twist - Joey Dee and the Starlighters, Nobody But Me - The Human Beinz, Spooky - Classics IV, She's Not There - The Zombies, Shakin' All Over - Guess Who, and Gimme Some Lovin' - Spencer Davis Group, the Harlem Shuffle and others

The keyboardist we are looking for should also be able to cover horn and strings sounds in the music. The vocalist must be able to sing harmony and lead. We are looking for people who are committed and willing to work hard. We practice one time per week in the South Hills. If you are interested, contact Jim.
