I have 2 different bands right now. Basically the same musicians with 2 separate lead singers. I had a 15 year house gig at the local Ritz Carlton that just ended. They decided to turn the lobby lounge into a sushi bar. The trouble is, all the members of the band play with more than one band and have other gigs certain nights I'm available to play. It's not like it was 40 years ago when everybody played in one band and got decent pay. So, I'm just testing the waters out here. There are times when our young lead guitarist is not available and to fill his spot a guitar player would have to have a good ear and good at singing high harmony parts and also able to play bass on songs that I play the Rickenbacker/12 string on, since I otherwise handle the bass parts when I'm playing the keys. Most of all, I want to book these 2 bands I'm already in.
