Experienced jazz, blues, R&B, smooth jazz, Latin jazz, pop, and rock saxophonist new to the Jacksonville area. Looking ideally to join of form a small jazz combo or jazz, blues and/or R&B/ Smoothjazz band. Open to playing casually or gigging. Also interested in opportunities to play with and/or write for horn sections in larger bands.
Gigged in the Philadelphia and New York metro area professionally for more than 15 years. Played in both straight ahead jazz trio/quartets, smooth jazz/R&B ensembles, blues, and latin jazz bands at major venues and festivals. Also played with and wrote horn arrangements for top tier weeding and party bands.
In addition to saxophone I am also a skilled Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) synth player with top tier equipment- allowing me to cover flute, string, brass, synth lead, harmonica, bass, keyboard, and hundreds of other sounds either as a lead voice or to fill out the sound.
