Band to Join, Other.ABOUT
Jamie crafts songs that are profound reflections of life's simple truths.
This prolific songwriter has been compared to many artists from Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie to Beck and Jim Morrison - the truth lies somewhere in between. From rugged folk songs to thought provoking anthems, Jamie produces compositions that span many genres, while not losing his own distinctive style. His skills as an artist are readily apparent in the way he flawlessly weaves together various influences into a whole that is seamless and original.
Interesting and Unique, Jamie is drawn to forms of musical expression that are distinctive and innovative. It's what he likes to listen to, it's what he likes to write and perform and such originality is what inspires him, regardless of genre.
"I am inspired by many forms of music, I am drawn to music that is interesting and unique in some aspect – melody, harmony and or rhythm, and music that has a lot of lyrical inspiration that is open to Interpretation." - Jamie
Jamie was born and spent his youth just outside Pittsburgh, PA. He fronted a modern rock band for many years, performing live in legendary establishments such as Toads Place in New Haven, the infamous CBGB's in downtown Manhattan, New York City and the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. Over the last decade, Jamie has turned his attention to songwriting and performing as a solo act. He is now based in Spring Hill, FL where he lives with his wife, Heidi and son Ethan. His passion for songwriting and performing is not just a hobby; to him it is a lifestyle.
A youthful energy, spirit, and body… combined with the depth wisdom of a seasoned songwriter, Jamie appeals to the young and old alike. Through his songs Jamie likes to meet his audiences at the front door of their imaginations. And like most rising stars, Jamie’s journey has been a long and challenging one, each challenge overcome with true dedication and tremendous commitment to his craft.
