I'm a guy who likes playing music. Kind of retired from it for a while, but the itch always comes back. I've been playing for around twenty years now, which sounds sad, but, apparently your 30's are a renaissance period. Please don't make fun on my awful scene hair or my scrawny self in the photo. That was from a gig in Wilson at the Luna Bean, I think we opened for Embracing Goodbye and Sent By Ravens that night. Ah, nostalgia. I joined my first band in my middle teens, garnered some local and beyond state line success, and hence, joined or played in a lot of others. Been around a lot, recorded some less than stellar ep's, recorded some amazing ep's; chances are that if you're an active musician in the Raleigh/Fayetteville/Wilmington area in a similar age bracket, see also Johnston County, I may have gigged along side you, or even threw down at an after party with you. Granted, those days are long since gone, but, I still have chops, wisdom, and I'm getting too old for super down tuned guitars and tap dancing on a pedal board. I'm a big substantive guy now. Do more with less. Play better, write better. If it feels right, I may bite at another chance to jam with some like minded and decent folk.
