ABOUT
Music has been a part of Jami's life since she started taking guitar lessons at age 5. Years of lessons utimately lead her to a Bachelors of Music in Guitar Performance from Utah State University. A performer with great breadth; Jami has played with jazz bands, bluegrass combos, classical ensembles and rock bands. She has also performed as a solo musician in classical, bluegrass, jazz and folk.
Currently, Jami runs a private teaching studio, is a group guitar instructor for Mountain Arts and Music and is the creator of ModernGuitarApproach. In addition to performing solo acoustic guitar for weddings, dinners and events, she is also the lead guitarist for the rock band Mothers of Mayhem.?
