Hi, I just made this profile recently and seeing what this site is like. I have been playing bass for about 12 years and gigging for almost that long. Kind of like the old joke about bassists practicing twice then having a gig. Anyway, I love to play and I do really well with backup vocals. I am not tentative, I play confidently and really fill out the pocket. I enjoy a lot of different music. My favorites are 80's pop and hair metal type stuff but also newer pop/rock like Muse, etc. I am in this for the music, period. I do expect to be treated like a pro and that means I am not looking for a garage band just for fun because I believe that gigging, making great music, getting a crowd excited, and making a few bucks is even more fun than playing for free. If I commit to something, I'm like a golden retriever... super loyal and dependable. I am old enough to be past the flaky musician thing and I have a real job so I know how to handle responsibility. EQUIPMENT
I own about 8 basses, mostly 4-string, Ibanez, Warwick, Yamaha.
Have a Mark V bass combo amp. Lots of LED DMX lights and much lighting experience. Can run an amazing light show and play at the same time with stompbox midi footswitch
