Janet Lago is an english and spanish songwriter, born in New York from a family of musicians by mother side. Lived the music from her very early childhood. Started writing her music at her early teen years, at the same time that learned to play the guitar and the piano. Because for the lack of songwriters opportunities in her small town, was very difficult for her to rise or develop her songwriter carrier. This obstacle took her to decide study law, and place the music as her second goal. But the flame of the music never faded inside her heart, and at the age of thirty, wrote the first musical production of her songs. And in the early 2000s, wrote the second and thirth production of her most popular songs.
She has written more than thirty songs. Her first album: Janet, Mis Primeras Versiones, contain the hits: Nuestra Noche, Amor Nocturnal, Llego el verano, Amor sin condicion, and Volveran, among other songs. Janet, Mis Canciones, is the second version of the first album, and is her number one sold in cd and digital. The second album, Romance Tropical, have ten songs with a great variety of rhythms and lyrics dedicated to the sea, the beach, the palms, the sand, the summer, and to the spirituality and emotion of the tropical environmet. South Florida Romantic, her thirth album, is a tribute to the City of the Sun (Miami Beach) and the city of Homestead, and the Florida Keys; this album also contain romance, experiences, and spiritual songs, as The God of all Comfort. Janet, Mis Canciones, My Songs At Piano Style, is the fourth album, and have the most of her songs at piano, voice, and bolero style.
Her music have been elevated several times to the firts places at the ReverbNation hit parade for her song The City of the Sun. According to Jango internet radio her most popular songs are: Playa Tropical, Key West, No te voy a olvidar, Lamento Tropical, Llego el verano, Amor Nocturnal, Nuestra Noche, Volveran, The God of all Comfort, among others.
Her fans are all over the world, specially United Stated, Mexico and Japan. Her music is represented and distributed by the most known online stream music channels like: Cdbaby, Spotify, You tube music, HeartRadio, , Jango Radio, Amazon, ReverbNation, and others more. She also has three poetry books, and received The Distinction to the Merit, in the Miami International Poetry Contest, for her literate work. She actually is working in her fifth album: My songs without words through the magic of the piano.
