Hello, My name is Jared Alexis, I am 25 yrs. old, and after a long bout I have finally moved out of my hometown of Tucson, Arizona to pursue a professional music career. See, tucson is not the most "creative" or "supportive" town for art and music. Although, with enough hard work and dedication I was able to have some success. My "primary" instrument is drums/percussion. (Professional sponsorship with "Battlefield Drum Co.") However, I also perform lead vocals and decent rhythm or bass guitar, and have been performing in bands for over 12 years. A few with some success, even opening for and touring with national acts. "Less Than Famous," and "Queen of Hearts" were the more "recognized" bands that I was a founding member of. I am including a few pics and links of videos to some of my more recent work.

I am looking for a group of talented and driven individuals whom are serious about writing and performing music for a living. It will take hard work, dedication and even "sacrifice." I am prepared to do whatever it takes at this point in my life to achieve a career that I am passionate about and hope to find a "team" that shares my goals. I moved here with my fiancé whom is very supportive and knows this is what I want to do with my life.
I do not smoke or do drugs. I take care of my body so as to stay healthy and able to perform my best when we perform/tour. This will take "resources" that hopefully this team will be ready to commit.
Eventually we would hope to acquire the right resources such as a manager or label backing if thats what were seeking. I have done the managing for most of the bands and it is exhausting. Would be nice to focus on writing and performing.
Not too picky on how many members. Would love to have piano/keyboard player, and a really solid lead guitarist. This project will be writing originals. I did the cover thing to make some money in Tucson as that is about the only way to do so locally. Actually, reworking a few covers of new songs in the "Punk Goes Pop" style, but in our own way, would probably help to keep the crowds attention in the bars/venues. We can throw one in every few songs. But focus on the originals. Would like a solid "Rock" band. Or just "music from the heart"... (Sick of labels.) "Funk" influence such as MAROON 5 or BRUNO MARZ, but with a little bit of "southern rock" influence. Similar to THE ALMOST. However, we need to have our "own unique style." (Only way to get recognition.) Accordingly, these artists/bands as influences to the type of sound as well. MATCHBOX TWENTY, JHONNY CRAIG, IMAGINE DRAGONS, FALL OUT BOY, GO RADIO, THE ROCKET SUMMER with "edge" of LETTERKILLS, LORENE DRIVE, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, PEIRCE THE VEIL, and HANDS LIKE HOUSES. (Also take influence from "Prince," J.T., and Tyler Carter from WOE IS ME.)

Prefer to do vocals, possibly some rhythm. Maybe do side projects as drums and or bass guitar. My vocal range is a "baritenor" (Baritone/Tenor) Have a DVD of shows with cover bands what my vocals sound like or I can "show you." I am finally here... Lets Do This!!!
