I am an intermediate bassist looking to jam and get experience playing with other musicians. I have a pretty good understanding of theory, and can read and play with chord charts fairly well. My ear is developing but probably my weakest point. I’m a pretty simple player, and love holding down a steady groove in the pocket. I haven’t played any gigs but have played a few times jamming in a trio, and have played with a half dozen guitarists or so in the past.

I’m really big into the soul revival as well as the classics. Thee Sacred Souls, Menahan Street Band, Khruangbin, Malted Milk, The Meltdown, Aaron Frazer, The Black Pumas, Arc de Soleil. Also a big fan of the Stax, Muscle Shoals and Philly soul sound. Love some Wilson Pickett lines. Also do some classic rock and blues. CCR, Bad Company, BB King, too many to name
