My name is Jasie. I'm a 24-year old singer/song writer/acoustic guitar player. I've been singing and writing pretty much all my life but I only picked up the guitar a few years ago. It doesn't come as naturally to me as singing and writing does but I know about 9 or 10 chords which may not seem like alot but it's surprising how many songs you can learn to play with just a few chords. Although I do have some original material, I thoroughly enjoy playing acoustic covers of anything from hot 100 hits to classic rock/indie rock songs or even some hip hop songs as well. I joined this website because I'm looking to start a band, even if it just involves one other person, just to play some local gigs with. I just want to find musicians who have a flexible schedule and can commit to atleast a few nights of practice a week and up to atleast one day a week to gig. It's very hard to find anyone reliable these days so I'm looking for someone who is passionate about music and serious about performing. I am willing to travel a reasonable distance out of town if needed.
