Members Of Band
So far, just myself. I jam in a cover band, and enjoy myself there, but I want to get my original stuff out there. I perform by myself for my original stuff, but some of the songs are needing some bass and percussion to really achieve the certain mood and feel I'm trying to convey.
EQUIPMENT
I got an old Ludwig set from the 1950's. They have original skins. They look, feel, and sound vintage, but I love them just for that the way they are. I love that dusty, old, porch band kind of feel. To me, it's not about the quality of the gear with the music I'm writing, it's the way we will use the gear, and the method for which we are trying to provoke certain feelings. I love the sound of street performers with a trash can for percussion, beat up guitar, and a harmonica. There's soul in that. It's hard to explain, but I love that kind of stuff. As far as bass, I would need the bass player to have his or her own gear, as I had to sell mine.
