ABOUT

My main instrument is the electric guitar. I have been the lead guitar player in a number of bands over the course of many years. I have played in two guitar as well as one guitar bands.

I work a day job so I like to keep my gigging on the weekends. I am interested in playing a number of generas of music. I like to play everything from classic rock and modern country to some old metal and new rock.

I am a very low drama type of person. I like to be in a group that wants to play music and entertain people and check the drama at the door. I also try to make the best of every situation. I am not fond of having band mates that constantly complain. I am a pretty punctual person. I am almost always early and hardly ever late. I like to play covers true to the original but am not so rigid as to not add some of the band's flavor to the song. I tend to play the signature licks in a song note for note but improvise in the solos, unless it is a solo that is very melodic and iconic. I will then learn the solo for the song.

I have been playing since I was about 9 years old. I am WAY older than that now...I know a fair amount about music theory. I also know a fair amount about sound equipment and how to use it. I own my own system. I run a digital board and have run sound for other bands many times.
