ABOUT

Bandmix does a good job of connecting musicians. I originally used this site to find our drummer. But I still get folks visiting from time to time. So I thought I'd mention a little about our band if you are interested in discovering new music.

I play in a 4 pc band called Bob's Dock. There are a couple demos uploaded to Bandmix. If you like them, consider following us on F-B and we will let you know when our new album is released. We will be playing a lot in West Michigan next year too.

EQUIPMENT

Favorite guitar - cheap Epi Les Paul. I've upgraded just about every component. P90 pickups, 50's style wiring, locking tuners. It's just the right fit for me. Just the right feel. Just the right weight.
2nd Favorite guitar - American Pro Tele
Fav Acoustic - cheap Epi PR-4E NA. For real? Yea for real. It is a parlor style so it's super comfortable to hold and play. It is all wood with a spruce top. you can strum lightly and finger pick and all the notes just ring. It plays beautifully. Great guitar.
2nd Fav Acoustic - Art & Luthrie Cedar Sunrise - Its a dreadnaught so not as comfortable but it sounds amazing. I haven't got it to feel as nice as the Epi but resonates so well. sustain is amazing. Beautiful guitar too.
Favorite Amps - Marshalls for dirty, Peavey Delta Blues for clean
Fav Vocal chain - U87 about 8-10" off mic to reduce proximity effect > Great River > LA-2A set to Limit > 1176 buttons all in fast attack, slow release
