Drums and hand percussion.
I want to create great music with friends. I can commit, but don't have illusions of being a full-time musician. I have a family and a day job so time is valuable.
I'm influenced by everything. I like music that's honest, emotional, grooves, and isn't over-engineered. I enjoy collaborating, writing, innovating, and thinking about what works for the song.
In addition to drum kit, I get by on djembe, congas, bongos, and tambourine. Shakers are cool.
I've gigged and recorded with singer-songwriter friends and cover bands in Kansas City and Columbia, MO. I've played frequently at Woodcrest Chapel in Columbia, MO and Heartland Community Church in Overland Park, KS - two very high-quality "seeker-church" bands.
