LOOKING FOR THE REGIONS BEST MUSICIANS to start a new project from the ground up. If you are a pro-player in the upstate and ready to record and rock the stage, this opportunity may be for you.
We are looking for a top-notch vocalist/guitarist, guitar shreader who is comfortable with playing tasty, melodic riffs as well as showing off the 'shread' when needed and drummer who can play in the pocket and lock in with bassist. Capitolizing on the current trend from Nashville leaning toward country infused rock, we would like to expand that with a band that blends the stylings of Jason Isbell, Hardy and Jelly Roll with the groove and heaviness of King's X and Big Wreck. An emphaisis on great song writing with pop sensibilities and vocal harmonies are a must here.
We just relocated from the west coast to Tryon, NC. My family has been in the Asheville region since 1992. 30 year music industry vet with experience touring (Metallica, Bob Dylan, Queensryche, Highway 101, Willie Nelson, Tesla and others), studio (Goldmine Studios, Nashville, Granny's House, Reno {Collective Soul, OZZY, Whitesnake all recorded here}), and live stage performance (most recently opened for Billy Idol, Puddle Of Mudd, Alter Bridge and others) as bassist in national band Black Sunshine.
With 30+ years spent primarily as an Operations Manager for a multitude of radio station formats, we've got all the record label and managment connections with the biggest firms in the world and now just need the music to send out. Big money can be made from local showcases (merch) and writing music for synch (movies, TV, Commercial placement publishing).
Leave the drama with yo mama- this is an all-pro project with zero room for drama. Check your ego at the door. We have invested a lot of money and a lifetime of work/experience into music and are looking for serious players only.
