Jay “Blue Jay” Jourden is a world renowned producer, hit songwriter, and musical/vocal artist as well as an accomplished concert promoter/producer/performer having worked on and help organize major concerts for The American Indian Movement AIM, Wounded Knee & The Longest Walk, The No Nukes Concert Series, The Disaster Relief 96 Concert Series, The 40th Anniversary of Woodstock 1969-2009 “West Fest” Concert, Ross Perot, and more.

Hit songs over the years include the 78' dance classic "Dance, Dance, Dance, With Me", the national hit and working man's theme song "Enough's Enough" for Ross Perot, "No More Nukes", "Todo Tu Amor", and the recent world wide hit: "WORLD FREEDOM SONG (Together We Are One)" with artists covering the song world wide.

Currently signed with Toronto Pictures/Global Film Studios, a socially active, major international film company, under internationally acclaimed director Bruno Pischiutta and producer Daria Trifu. Toronto Pictures is currently in preproduction of several films in Romania and other parts of the world, addressing important, socially significant issues, affecting changes in global thinking, and done without the “Hollywood Standard” gratuitous sex and violence “norm”.

He’s Co-Founder of The WORLD FREEDOM PROJECT & ROCK THE PLANET TOUR, Adviser and Consultant to Earth Day Global, as well as a Board Member of Musicians & Artists For World Peace & other global, activist organizations. Currently producing the International Music Video Project: “WORLD FREEDOM SONG (Together We Are One)”, c/p/r 2009-2013, with musicians, artists, and people(s) from every country on the planet being represented, a music/arts /entertainment industry first, he’s organizing the music and arts world globally to create The International World Freedom Music & Arts Expos on six continents every four to six years.
