The United Worship team was founded more than 8 years ago by its spiritual and music leader JayJay. The team includes individuals of all ages from different churches and areas of ministry. JayJay and the team believe that God uses everyone no matter how imperfect. Each member of the Worship Team is a “misfit” in their own way. Moses stuttered, King David was an adulterer,  Matthew was a tax collector, Paul was a bigot, and Jesus was “just a poor carpenter’s son.” Yet they all accomplished great things. The United Worship Team is certainly unique. It consists of average young adults who wear skinny jeans and sneakers. They may be far from perfect, but have a true desire to follow Jesus regardless of where they’ve been in their lives or what they have done. All while keeping Jesus at the Center of everything they do.

Jay Jay is from Westchester County, NY and has accomplished a great deal, singing for more than 12 years of his life. He is a published author, youth ministry leader, and appeared as a contestant on the 7th season of “American Idol.” Although his health is a daily battle, he is a true example of perseverance and a testimony that God is a healer and can do all things. He continues to write music and travel with the team in order to remind the world that when God is in it, there is no limit. The United Worship team brings a whole new meaning to making “a joyful noise.” We know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).

We are on BandMix Because we are currently looking for musicians and vocalist who are looking to be apart of the team.

(reading music is great but not a requirement. We are looking for musicians who can play by "ear")

Must be willing to practice with the singers, and Commitment is a MUST

Please know, we do Not charge! to sing at local churches although are schedules are booked, the contributions go to the needs of the group (i.e microphones, amps, drum sets, instruments etc.)

Transportation can be provided if needed (but it is preferable that you are able to travel)

(If you have your own equipment great! however if not, Equipment will be provided to you if you are willing to Join us)

We do this for Gods glory and are looking for people who are not looking to get rich but have a HEART FOR WORSHIP!
