Jaylin Sky Rosado is a queer, Latina vocalist, songwriter, actress and model who grew up in New York City. She is currently pursuing a BMus. in Jazz Studies with a voice primary and a minor in Musical Theater.
Jaylin's voice and music reflect the influence of a wide range of genres - from jazz to rock, R&B to folk. She is a classically trained vocalist who also partakes in musical theater.
Highlights from her early career include performing Carmina Burana at NJPAC with the Montclair State University Chorale in collaboration with the NJ Symphony, performing at Carnegie Hall, singing lead vocals in her high school jazz band alongside players from Arturo O'Farrill's Grammy-winning Afro
Latin Jazz Orchestra, working with Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton, In the Heights, Wicked) and performing for Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Miranda Family.
