Hey all! I am a guitarist and keyboardist looking to play with like minded musicians. I am primarily a lead guitarist and I play a lot of slide guitar and dobro. My favorite music to play is either old funk like The Meters or Grant Green and I enjoy American Roots Rock. I also enjoy reggae, more roots based classic rock or Indie, or a jazz combo into Jimmy Smith style jazz. I can sing and I write my own songs so I am open to focused creative concept if it is in the vein of the music I like.
As a keyboard I like to play a lot of electric piano, organ, clav , and older vintage keys. I am not a piano/synth guy in a modern sense . I like groove and feel so please don't call me to play keys unless you like that type of older groove. My saying is I am more Dr John than Elton John. (Though mad respect for EJ)
