ABOUT

I'm a college student that loves music and wants to collaborate with other musicians again. I've been in a few bands and have played a few shows (with help from older musicians when I lived in Miami). I'm not the next big prodigy or anything, but I am dedicated and a fairly quick learner. My list of cover songs I can play is pretty large and my originals, while some could use some more work, are pretty decent in quality and quantity.

Before you reach out or reply or anything, I'm overweight, and if this hurts your image, move on and find someone else. You've got plenty to choose from. It's something I'm working on but nothing is overnight.

Must be willing to play covers, at least for the first few jam sessions. We can discuss what we each know if we decide to jam, I guess, but it's a good way to get a grasp of how we work together.

(since you can't message on here for free, email is backyardpotatoes (outlook), ig is ukulelecapo)

Influences

The music I want to make sounds like:
-Waterparks
-My Chemical Romance
-Maybe some Nirvana
-AJR/twenty one pilots/Vinyl Theatre type sound
-Maybe even some A Day To Remember

The lyrics I write and the sound I prefer for those is close to pop-punk, and I'm hyperfixating on Waterparks right now because that's the vibe, but... Y'know.
