ABOUT
JAZZ GITAN [aka The Hot Club of Hangtown] is a jazz ensemble that carries on the tradition of gypsy swing created by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli during their domination of the Paris jazz scene during the 1930s. It is the swinging jazz from the 30s and 40s, plus a cross-section of songs from the modern Gypsy Jazz repertoire together with Originals written by band leader/guitarist Don Price.
